I think you are very brave to host a party! Congratulations, it sounds like it went really well! I think you probably invited just the right number of kids. I heard somewhere that you should keep the number of guests the same age your child, plus one.

I still have not got up the nerve to do a "real" birthday party for Eric. So far we have just kept it simple, invited the cousins over for cake and decorated with whatever obesession, I mean theme, Eric chose.

Tomorrow we are venturing out to a neighborhood block party kind of thing. We've never done that before. I was always afraid it would be too overwhelming for Eric, noise, scary stuff. But we'll give it a try and if it doesn't work, just go home.

Eric wanted to be a knight this year. I don't know what I was thinking! Knight, sword. As any little boy, he loves the sword to bang and bash on everything. I can't believe I let him get it.

I am glad your party went so well! Happy Halloween!

Congratulations on the party, Evelyn!!

Ya know, I took Tyler to a birthday party a couple of years ago. He was the only one that showed up. The poor birthday boy! His mom said that she ACTUALLY got rsvp's too!! So, Nathan and I stayed...had some cake and let the boys play.

Don't think i will ever do the Halloween party thing......but one never knows with an autie in the house. One day, he will just demand to have one. I never know...he keeps me guessing!!
