So I go in for a hair appointment today and my stylist says, "What's the deal with all this gray?" I laughed and said, "Excuse me...but I have two autistic children. What do you THINK is the deal with all this gray hair?!?!?"

Guess I should start coloring it more often, huh? Nah...why bother? Perhaps I'll just be completely gray before I reach 35.

Right there with you Amy.

While Debbie was here visiting I put up my hair which I rarely do. Emily says "Mom you are REALLY gray!" Which she is right. I am. I just did a temp color on it a couple days ago. I am still trying to decide if I want to color regularly or just go gray. I only think about just going gray because I am forever forgetting to color it and then I get the roots and gray. Lovely!

I just cut my hair so short and I still want to go shorter. I am serioulsly considering shaving it at a #2 blade, as not only is it so grey, it's also really wiry due to the grey. I'm not kidin, if I do shave it I'll scare yez all with pics, lol.

Well Dee, I'm pretty sure my stylist used a #3 on most of my head today! LOL Seriously, I don't think the scissors came out for more than about 45 seconds...it was all done with the clippers.

I've done everything from all one length to my shoulders, to so short you can see my scalp, to flaming red, to dark brown...you name it, I've done.

But for now, I'm going with the "super short, mousey brown with lots o' gray" thing!

I have always had long hair (some gray in their too... shhhhhh). I once cut my so short, I looked so weird.

I can never do short hair again lol. It's great for some, but not for me.

When my older kiddos were babies I had really short hair. Right before #4 was born I had the #3 buzz on most of my hair. I just used some gel to make it stick up. My hair grows REALLY fast tho and I was having to have it cut every 3 wks, just don't have time for that. So, now I'm back to long mostly one length w/ just a wisp of bangs. I trim my own bangs every so often and get a hair cut about 1-2x a year. It's still wash and go, but now I twist it into a bun or clip.

I was lucky enough to not inherit my mom's hair color, she's been totally gray for years. My dad & grandfather didn't even get any gray until after 60. So far I'm only finding a few white/grays here and there. I'm hoping my hair just slowly goes from honey blonde/brown to white and misses the gray all together-- could I be that lucky?

DH is almost totally gray now-- he's in his early 40's.

Yes, I just went to the hairdresser yesterday. I am petite with a small face, so a short bob works well for me. But I'm in the over 40 crowd and the dreaded grays--rather white hairs--showed up right around the time DS was born!

My hairdresser does what he calls "camoflauge." I have light brown, blondish-reddish hair with a few white wisps. So he puts in s few lighter highlights to sort of make the white blend and be less noticeable. It lasts a long time so I only have to do it 3 times a year. But it is a bit expensive, still cheaper than if I had to do it myself every month! Plus I am so beatifically clueless I am sure I could never figure out how to even do it myself!

It's my one concession to vanity, LOL!

As long as Miss Clarol is in business I will never be grey.

No, actually, I was all set to 'gp grey gracefully', but that changed when the grey 'fan' around my face became a streak that went down the center of the top of my head. I was starting to look like a skunk... so Miss Clarol is now one of my closest friends!
