HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope it is a great one. So how concrete do you have to be with AS hubby to have your birthday celebrated? I find I either have to specifically ask for some sort of birthday thing or just be ok with no celebration. I usually go for no celebration as Mike is the day before me and I have had enough cake.

I only admit to a 5th anniversary of my 29th birthday. Honestly, Cait usually has to remind me how old I am. I have to add it up in my head and am always forgetting. Denial I think.

Renee, lol, I'm getting so old I forget how old my own

children are sometimes. (on a spur of the moment guess sometimes because

my youngest son is 9 but he's bigger than my 12 year and 10 year old..)

someone on the phone asked me how old he was and I blurted out 10 without

thinking...lol

LOL, oh, I confuse the ~bleep~ out of Craig when it comes to BDays. He likes to get detailed lists of the things any given person wants for which holiday. Last year we had a little money to blow so I gave him a short list. He bought everything on it and dellagated (sp?) the party planner duties to my work parnter, Scott. This made him very happy.

But this year we are dirt poor (drs bills have a tendancey to do that). So I told him what I really wanted was to get all the bills paid so I didn't jump every time the phone rang. He didn't get it. I tried to explain it to him but he still bought me a new sterio for my office. At least he saved up his weekly lunch allowance to buy it instead of just taking money from the checking account like he used to do.

But on an up note, one of Angel's drs was recently dx'd with AS and was so incredably happy for all the help I gave him in undestanding that an 'autism dx' doesn't mean 'damaged goods' that he came over to my house today to let me know he was dropping the extras our insurance didn't cover. He said his BDay gift to me was 'no bill from this dr'. LOL, what a world! Of course, we only owed HIM $280 compared to the surgeon's $23,000. But hey, at least one Aspie in my life 'got it'. Tee Hee.

We are all going to the drive-in tomorrow, compliments of Scott and his wife. I love going to the movies but I haven't gotten too since the baby was born. Even with all 7 of my muchikins in tow and their 3 this should still be a treat for me.
