Yesterday, when I went to pick David up from school, I walked into the classroom to say hello to the teacher.

Oh my goodness! Can she be cloned?! What a difference it makes to the schooling experience and the obviously talented development of the child! Congrats!!!

absolutely fabulous! I think I really like that teacher and how things are going this year for David. We all need to clone that teacher and yeah David that he is so self motivated and such a good student.

Proves again my current theory, positive verbal praise goes a really long way. Our kids just can do so well when they have a teacher who supports, encourages and believes in them.

Evelyn,

How amazing to have a teacher who appreciates and focuses on David's strengths and intelligence, rather than obsessing on his quirks.

May she live long and teach many Aspies.

Oh Evelyn, I'm so jealous! lol. I remember when my dd was little and had many problems the best teachers sat there, watched her behavior and decided, I need to look a little deeper.

Well when they looked (co-teaching, two different teachers)they saw the beautiful child I knew. They did wonders for her, with her self esteem, with her behavior ect.

It was a wonderful year!

So glad you got a great one! Those are the ones that need to have a paycheck that matches the Doc's in the world!
