my daughter had a hearing exam today. she screamed the whole time but thankfully it was quick. i loved the dr. he said "so she doesnt like dr.s huh" ha thats an understatement! but either way her hearing is just fine, we knew it! that girl will come running from miles away if she hears a cartoon playing but could care less if we are calling her name ;)

when we were leaving the building we had to ride the elevator down, now she really enjoyed this while going up but going down more people got on. and she flipped out, this lady kept saying "aww shes afraid of the elevator" , i wanted so badly to say "nope shes just afraid of u and your kids"! haha but i didnt want to seem rude..

hehehe. Good for the doctor that he managed it at all.

I remember trying (TRYING) to test Pete's hearing when he was that age, and there was no flaming WAY that was happening. We eventually ended up going to a specialist school for the deaf and they were able to to it.

I'm glad all is well in that department.

Oh I remember those tests. When Cait did it they made sounds in the room and if she turned toward it a little toy reacted. That part went well. She was having nothing to do with the headphones then either, lol.

Yep, always gotta rule out that hearing thing first.
