I just got my puter back, my hard drive was caput. Today was my last day at the job I liked, I was laid off. Matty has had issues at home lately and has been unlashing on me. I have the new bald spots and bruises to prove it.

I'm just wondering, but why is it that everyone who has a child with autism just so happens to be on the high functioning end? In my almost 4 years of this now, I never hear of parents talk about their non verbal child with XX issues. Renee and I have discussed this before...but I no longer do support groups or autism events because even with my other son having pdd, i feel like the loner. Don't get wrong, I'm not looking for a pity party. But it's hard to fish for advice from those who are dealing with academic and verbal behavior issues when your child unleashes on you when he can't deal.

val,

Glad to have you back.

I kind-of remember how it felt to be listening to other moms complain about how their kids got fresh and talked back, when I was thinking "I would love to have that problem! I love if he just *talked*! If he would only talk he could get as fresh as he wanted. Heck! he could
