Well, after a month of being on the road, hotels and stuff, we now have our own beds to sleep in. I don't think anyone is going to get up tomorrow morning. :) Victor didn't do too bad during the move. There were a few rocky spots and A LOT of whining but I think we only have 2 meltdowns that were easily contained. I'm really liking this him learning about what sets him off. Well, can't talk long, just thought I'd say hi and that I missed you guys very much.

Moving..... ***Shudder***. You are one brave woman! Glad to see it has worked out well for your family :)

We moved 3 times in 8 months and my son freaked everytime and needed 3 months to re-cuperate. This was way before I knew anything was wrong...

Wow, did miss you Alexis. I will have to get Mike back in his email to send a welcome not to Victor. It sounds like it went pretty well. A month in hotels. You poor thing! Was that due to the distance of the move or waiting for houses to close, etc.

Welcome back.

Okay, now that DH is going back to work I have time to sit on the computer. We're still semi living out of boxes. The month in a hotel wasn't too bad because a week of it was here at Ft. Campbell with Vic's best friend from Pre-K, Kindy, and 1st grade. The two boys hit it off like they had never been apart. We had to spend a week in hotel here waiting for military housing to open up but now that it has, it's pretty nice. We have a small park literally right outside our back door. Since Victor still likes going to the park, it's perfect. He's not too thrilled with the boys in the neighborhood rough housing but when they do it at the park, he comes home. We have a two story so our biggest fight right now is to get Vic to not going flying down the stairs. Whoever was the genius who put the stairs right in front of the front door should be shot.
Honestly, worst part of the trip was the week we spent with the grandparents. They had such crazy schedules that Victor had a few meltdowns there just because it was common to them to drag us all out at 8pm and keep us out til midnight. This did not set well with the boy who likes going to bed no later than 10pm. He really wanted to be there tho and despite the crazy schedules and the meltdowns that followed them, I think both kids had a blast with their grandparents.
Grandpa taught both kids how to fish. Victor was upset because Bryanna caught two fish and he couldn't catch any. The next day we went to the beach and Bryanna got stung either multiple times by a jellyfish or by several jellyfish. Either way, her legs were blistered from the hips to her toes and then got a few on her tummy. Needless to say, she's not really looking foward to going back to the beach right now LOL.
Well, that's about it for now. I'll be checking in daily now tho. See you ladies later.
