Jacob has been acting out lately. Part of it is due to his language delay, the other part...who knows. ANyhow, he is doing lots of hitting and pinching. At the sitters house yesterday, he went up to a little girl who was doing a puzzle that he likes and squeezed her arm real hard. The sitter made him sit in time out. I have noticed that a lot of times he just hits someone. If he thinks his sister is going to take something that is his,he hits her. HE does the same with the kids at the sitters house. Last night, he had a huge tantrum b/c he wanted milk. I put some in a sippy cup and he started crying, no, no, no and then hit me. He wanted the milk, but I am pretty sure he wanted it in a normal cup and I wouldn't let him have a normal cup b/c the other night he dumped it out on the floor. Anyhow, he cried for about 20 minutes, kept trying to hit me. Everytime I asked him what was wrong, he said, NO! So, I finally put him in time out and ignored him. I remember DD having tantrums, but she didn't really hit. Jakey is just 2 years old. I think he feels bad after he hits, but how do I get him to stop? I am frustrated with it. He can be so fun and loving and then he does stuff like this. Please help.
