OMG! The current article I'm working on for work is this exact topic! How weird, huh? Anyway, I should should be finished with the article sometime tonight (if the kids don't drive me insaine first, lol). The foundation gave me permision to post all of my edditorials here, so I'll post the article as soon as it's done. I'd also like to hear how others explain it. It's one thing to read about it in a scientific journal, it's quite another to hear how parent's and spouces see or understand it. ;)

hmmmm good ?, & we're all waiting for Candes to answer. My son's Neuro said something like an HFA will still look AUTISTIC when put next to an HF Aspie But they are able to be in the world better then a regular autistic person. The diagnosis is made by the symptoms. IT's easier for me to look at the list of aspie & autie signs & see the differences. My sister teaches a child that is solidly Aspie in symptoms but has better luck teaching some of her autie kids then this child. Hmmm still interested in what Candes thinks, as usual. She can always explains my thoughts better then me.
