Okay im on the spd page.since thats what my daughter has.. buuuut now she was just dignosed with pdd, help me understand pdd i always knew she wasnt just spd. but then when her theripist said your daughter has pdd i nearly fainted. even though since 6 months i knew something wasnt right. she is on babyfood at a 4month old eating level a 4 year old speech level. shes sooo smart maybe thats why im confused? ugh im just rambling. sorry.just want to know my daughter has autisum.....how do i tell people? how do i understand? how as a family are we going to cope? and could pdd change to anything else.her theripist thinks shes more aspergers...what r the differences?

PDD means that she's on the autism spectrum but doesn't fit the exact definition of classic autism or Aspergers, or any of the other defined labels.

It was her phycologist who dx her.it all typed up along with how he wants her off gluten and cesian?

Yes, some kids do better if they are on a gluten and casein free diet.

Thank u so much ! well ei made me pick the services for when shes 3 from the school they shld contact me in a few months.im wondering about regular schooling.shes in daycare right now

Well, the school district may offer you a slot in a preschool if she qualifies for it.

I worry about school she has such a hard time with change and it seems like every day she gets worse :/ but this new daycare is small and has a special needs teacher in her room so that gives me peace of mind for the 6 hours im at work. ive noticed that if i have to get help or results i have to find doctors who listen to me! no one thought anything was strange till recently when id been conserend since 6months of age. well atleast i have this community because my family and friends rnt very helpful.
