Hi gals!

I am cross posting this to the sensory board as well. Has anyone ever used this program?

Yes, Liam used it with his old OT in MD and it was used last year at school. I'm not sure this year though, (communication not the greatest). I can still ask him how his engine's running and he can usually give me a good answer. It really helped Liam at the very least able his emotions. High is manic or angry, tired and sad is low and middle is okey dokey. Um...we are high most of the time these days, sigh

We used this when my son was younger. These days his engine is calm and then within 20sec out of nowhere, we are derailing. I have asked his ST and OT for some technique.

Weston used it, fairly successfully in 2nd grade. The teacher didn't like it and was difficult, the OT loved it and really did a lot of work to help Weston be able to verbalize what he needed. When we moved they used similar ideas but not the specific program. Now, he has OT consult and they go over a plan 2x a month to help him be able to be comfortable in his skin. The How Does Your Engine Run was a great foundation for him.
