Hi all!
Hi, I'm Betsy (also an old lady on the board) w/ Dh Michael. I'm currently a SAHM w/ a small sewing business. I'm also substitute teaching at a local preschool. We have 5 children.
DS, Weston, age 11 in 6th grade, middle school, brings me here. His Dx is autism. He's fully mainstreamed but not doing so well in middle school. He has speech therapy, OT, and a resource teacher and aide for his most difficult times.
DS, Warren, age 16, grade 10 is Dx ADD-nos, dysgraphia, asthma/eczema/allergies, SI, not actually on the spectrum but often flirts w/ it. He's on an IEP but doing well in his classes this year-- we're hoping maturity has finally kicked in and he's got a handle on the basics of organization and executive functions.
DS, Owen, age 6, was given a provisional dx of ADHD and SI, he's doing well in a private kindergarten but we'll ask for an OT eval before he goes to the public school next year for 1st grade.
DD, Amelia, age 14 in 8th grade and DD, Martha 8 in 3rd grade both have dyslexia. Amelia is doing well w/o any interventions at school. Martha is on an IEP but starting to catch up now that she's getting lots of extra help. both girls has SI issues but not severely.

Hi all,
My name is Irene and I'm 37 y.o.
Hi, I'm Robin. I have 7-year-old Henry who is a not-officially-dx Aspie. He is in the 2nd grade and did not qualify for any special services although he is supposed to go to a social skills group once a week with the guidance counselor.
I also have Mark who is 2 and nt, I think.
My dh is Glen.
Right now, I teach one-year-olds at Mother's Day Out at my church three days a week. Glen is an accountant.
We live in a suburb of Memphis, TN.
I'm Amy- another one of the "old ladies" around here...well not literally (as I don't think any of us are actually old), but in terms of years hanging around these parts.
My name is Ann-Marie and we live in Central Texas.
I'm Christina, mom to Chloe(8) Aiden (6) and Sweden (2).
Chloe is a dx Aspie, on her file she has everything from innattentive ADD, possible bipolar/mood disorder, ODD, etc
- Christina mom to-
Chloe (10) Aiden(8)
I'm Helen, Single Mum to 2 in the outer suburbs of Sydney, Australia, where it is hot & rainy!
Addison is my ASD child. He is 13yrs old
Hi, I'm Kirsty, a university professor in social policy, I live in Stirling, Scotland (UK), and I'm here because my DS, Euan, 9, has Asperger's Syndrome. Euan has a brother, Rohan (4, NT) and a sister, Maeve (2, NT) and the NTs are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more trouble than the Aspie :-) DH is Simon, a database developer, and we are all English-living-in-Scotland (which, if you've watched Braveheart, you'll realise can have its own trials, but they are very gracious about letting us evil Sassenachs live here :-)
