I actually called my dh today and told him I would be leaving the house tomorrow for a couple hours or I was going to implode.

I hear two things reading your post:

Rece is looking for control and structure.

Rece needs more physical activity.

The control thing can be managed by giving him a schedule and sticking to it: "Today we are are going to do a, then B/. then C." That way he won't feel the need to break the sus[ense and create his own schedule: "I hit mommy, I get put in time-out"

For physical activity: If you can get him out f the house for 30 minutes per day, great. If the weather is bad, try to go to a playplace or something where he can let opff some steam. Do in at a time when there will be fewer kids there, like early in the morning. It should help him to get some of the beans out. You can also do activitied with him at home: bouncing on a therapy ball or a mini trampoline are favored activities for our kids.

I hope this helps.
