I can't type!

I have some kind of inflammatory condition in my hands. It was managed with meds until recently, but treatment for a different condition (scurvy) caused some kind of stomach problem and now I can't take my hand medicine. (but I can take my vitamin C no problem...)

Which means I can do almost nothing. Typing is one of the worst activities I can do

Paula,

I'm really sorry to hear about all of the pain. Yuck. I am feeling quite overwhelmed myself. but I do have my health, thank goodness.

Sending healing vibes and hugs your way.

First of all, (((Hugs)))).

Now down to business....SCURVY??????? As in pirates and citrus fruits (or lack of them)????? How the hell do ya get scurvy on LI, lol. Ah no really; typing pain bites big time, but by Gawd woman, if you come down with diphtheria or small pox, I'm checking in with Star Trek to see if you've been abducted by an alien life form from 200 years ago.........hey just sayin'!!!!

Love ya,

Dee

We bought Dragon Naturally Speaking for my Aspie to help with his writing homework. We spent so much time laughing at the goofs that we never got the homework done. It works MUCH better with adults than kids!

Paula,

I am sorry you are feeling so rotten. What you needed what something else to add to the list, NOT!

I was going to suggest Dragon Speaking Naturally as well. It is about the best speech recognition program going. HOwever, if you happen to have Vista (It might be on the old OS but not sure) but vista has it's own speech recognition program that is fairly easy to use. There is a whole bunch of accessibility options for people with special needs with the new Windows Vista. One of the good points of it if the security stuff wasn't such a PITA.

Actually, I took a chance yesterday and took the Celebrex with breakfast, then waited before taking the rest of me "schtuff". It seemed to work (which is why I was able to post yesterday evening). The hands are feeling a lot better now TG, and I am not howling in a corner with stomach pain.

I have Dragon Naturally speaking, I don't use it for several reasons -not least of which is the problem Evelyn described. Also the bugger needed absolute background silence and didn't like wireless interference, So it only wanted to work in one corner of the house, which is the least populated part and I need to be where the action is, or people might die.
