I believe the story was originally posted here last month about a tee-ball coach who encouraged one of the boys on his team to hit another teammate who has autism in the head with a ball in order to have him knocked out of the game so the team had a better chance of winning.

Thanks, Chelsea.

I had seen the story, but had been unable to determine what the child's disability is. The whole thing makes me alternate between wanting to cry and to become physically ill.

That story makes me ill. I was the one who first posted it. It is very sad because I can see how it would happen in some of the sport teams we tried in the past.

However, if you think that is maddening. Check this one out.

TWO HELD IN 'VERY TRAGIC' DEATH
Woman died in basement surrounded by feces

By BRETT CLARKSON, TORONTO SUN

A SEVERELY disabled Mississauga woman, allegedly confined to an excrement-filled basement by her sister and her sister's husband, died because of their negligence, Peel police say.
Tiffany Pinckney, 23, was found dead in the Fairwind Dr. home she shared with the couple on April 2 at 8:20 p.m.
A source said Pinckney had been living in a basement littered with human feces and that she was severely malnourished when police found her body.
The woman suffered from a severe case of autism and was developmentally delayed.
Police arrested the disabled woman's sister by adoption and brother-in-law Monday after an investigation into the suspicious circumstances surrounding Pinckney's death, police said.
"I think we're dealing with a very tragic set of circumstances here," Rowe said, adding police believe the span of offences committed against Pinckney began in January 1998 and lasted until her death.
Rowe wouldn't disclose specifics about the case, citing the "evidentiary nature" of the details. He also wouldn't comment on how the woman died, or the cause of death.
Charged with criminal negligence causing death and failing to provide the necessities of life are Alison Cox, 31, and Orlando Klass, 32, both of Mississauga.
