I was over at the signature showcase board, because I've been trying to get ideas for a siggy.

I hate that expression. I'm sorry that happened over there. My ds just started taking the bus (big deal for us). The second day my neighbor, in earshot of my ds, says "hey, how come he's riding the little bus?" The way he said it was so obnoxious to boot. I didn't bother answering him and he's never asked again. Jeez. We had a hard enough time getting ds to just go to school, nevermind getting on the bus. Maybe I'm overly sensitive, but that just gets my hackles up.

P.S. Your boys are sooo cute! Love the picture.

Evelyn,

I don't know what the signature board is, (I'm still here on the cheap!LOL!)but I would be offended too. I don't blame you.

My SIL has a tendancey when she is talking about other children who have done something silly and are friends of her kids to say, "he/she is not that bright." Which always bothers me too. I mean, not all of us are blessed with the same intellectual gifts, but I think I prefer the "if you can't say anything nice...." method.

Maybe someone will try to enlighten on your/our behalf.

I agree with the PP (and you)....in that it's not worth your time or energy to get too upset.
