Issue 2

Ok, it took abit due to technical difficulties and it is a day late, but.... Issue 2 of APOV (another point of view) on Autism Ezine is up.

Check it out www.asdrendrewolf.org

For those that are new here. Drendrewolf (aka Candes) was the old CL here. You can still see the webpage she made for the board. At anyrate a while back Candes and I decided that there was something missing in the ASD world and it a kind of parent to parent magazine of tips and such. A place where all those little questions can get answered. Kind of Autism's version of "parenting magazine" or "better homes and gardens". So this is our attempt at that.

It also aims to look at all points of view without bias. And take in all different therapies, treatments, etc, in a news format.

Many of the writers for the magazine are right from this board. And we are ALWAYS looking for more contributers. It only works with the viewpoints of many. It wouldn't be very good if it was just Candes and My point of view. We want everyone one. So if anyone has an interest.

Featured this month is the story that Francine submitted to Chickensoup. Also our own Amy's husband(Manec93) wrote a great article on life with kids on the spectrum AND you have GOT to check out what Littleroses has contributed. Hint Hint, she is the Arts and Leisure Editor.

I checked it out from work and thought "What's Renee talking about? That's the old one!"

Then I hit refresh and it updated. I guess the browser had stored the old page. (they are sneaky sometimes)

It looks great! I'll have to wait until I get home to read it, tho :(

Renee,
The site looks great and very interesting. It's nice to be able to read personal stories written by people on the spectrum. I gives me a lot of hope for Jake's future and helps me understand him a little better. Thanks for all the hard work bringing it to us. You really are a very dedicated Mom and your kids are very lucky to have you!
