Has your experience, getting your child diagnosed, watching them deal with their issues, helping them integrate, caused you to reflect on your own issues?

Ohhhh definetly! When my boys were dx'd I looked threw my family and myself. I knew whatever genetics played out, it was most likely from my side as my dd (my dh is her stepfather) had issue's too.

When I read more about OCD, I realized I had a touch of it. I remember when I was a kid and I would have to count things, or things had to be a certain way, or I had to click my tongue on my teeth a certain number of times silently or else the devil was going to get me. I still do stuff like this.

I thought for years that everyone did that! lol. So yes, I have learned a few things about myself along the journey.
