Today I took the boys to the autism fair. It's put on by the local autism society. We were there for TWO HOURS!! Last year was the first time we went, and when we showed up today...it seemed much smaller than last year. And there weren't as many people either. But the boys had a blast!!!

The boys played some little carnival games that they had set up (and got little toy prizes too), the bean table, and also got something to drink and popcorn. They also had a bouncy castle....so we did that too!!! They even had a little puppet show, and then at the end they had some clowns come in too. The clowns were the best part, I think. They did some tricks, sang, even had the kids come up and do a little dance. They even had hoola hoops too!! Also some games that had the kids participating and interacting with the clowns. Nathan laughed the whole time!!! He just loved it!! He even participated with the dance and also the hoola hoops! Usually he doesn't. He can ACTUALLY DO THE HOOLA HOOP....who knew?????

Tyler got tired of the clowns...but went to an arts and craft table and made something. So, he was still happy!! Ty loves that kind of thing!

AT the end, the clowns made things out of balloons for the kids. All the kids lined up, and got to ask specifically what they wanted. They did swords, dogs, flowers, etc....And when I got up to get the boys, the clown gave me a balloon shaped as a heart!! lol Nathan loved that!!

So, overall...a great day. But now the boys are exhausted. It's soooo quiet right now.

Michelle!

LOL Nathan can do the hula hoop! That's just awesome. I am glad the boys had fun. Did you meet any other moms who live near you? "In-person" support is a very nice thing.
