I thought you were going to say "Pete" but you chose a likelier candidate.

Sorry the hike left him discombulated. I seem to tremember when he first did it, you had the same thing th first and second time. Maybe it was just because of the long break and he will settle down.

Dearest Dee,

It ALWAYS takes Malcolm a few weeks to settle in to his routine after long break, and he will tell you this. We have had disconnected psychotherapy sessions and very disjointed Tae Kwondo. His sensei was a little flipped at Malcolm's regression for a few weeks, in fact, we scheduled a few privates to shape him up ... he both enjoys the privates for the opportunity to work hard under quiet circumstances, and HATES that we think he needs them ... EVER... And now he is testing for next belt next week, he shaped right up.

I was objecting to a particularly sloppy horse riding lesson last week, Gawd he looked so sloppy and he is normally a stellar rider! and he said "but Mom, it always takes me a few weeks to get myself back in the saddle" lol lol. (He is also a student of phrases...)

So, see if that isn't it. I'd put money on it. Got any? I'll betcha.
