I'm a little late here, but it is still May :)

My one and only turned 9 on Friday. I am the mother, Debbie (age 46) I am diabetic. DH is Barry who is going to be 51 in three weeks. We live in SE Pennsylvania.

I homeschool Stephanie who has PDD-NOS/Asperger's, Epilepsy, ADHD and anxiety issues.

She has many fears, but it generally happy go lucky and likes to laugh and be silly. She does talk loud, insists on doing whatever comes in her mind, hates loud noises, the feels of certain clothing (especially tags), and foods and is sensitive to smells. And she talks non-stop. She is thriving on the one on one attention. She is intelligent, but gets anxiety over things and forgets. She is good at memorization, but has struggles with thinking through things and understanding the why of things and she does miss social clues.

But she is my helper. She likes to help everyone. And like I said earlier, she has a good sense of humor and likes to be silly. When I found out I had diabetes, she picks flowers outside and gives it to me and says she wants me to feel better. She is so sweet.

Hi, I seem to be the last one to post all the time! I'm Mary Ann an RN, I work 4 days a week, I live in San Diego, originally from Pa. I have 2 dd's Jenna NT (18) & Sarah-Aspie (14) she'll be 15 in Sept. & I'll be 50!!! I came to the boards over 5 yrs. ago when my dd was diagnosed. She is in highschool & doing well w/ an IEP. She still struggles in math. My dh of 18 yrs.is an undiagnosed Aspie & so is his father. What is sad is how many Mom's there are now on this board & how we seem to be increasing :( What I love about my Aspie dd is her sense of humor, she is nice to everyone, her great memory, her honesty & she is my sidekick, we do alot together. My older dd is also funny. Take Care~ Mary Ann
