Christina,
I am so glad it has worked out well for you. When medication helps it is really a god send and definitely worth it for the family and the child. So nice to hear she is doing so well. That is wonderful.

Well, we use risperdal for agression and so far the side effects have been minimal.....if any, and trust me we've used other meds in the past where side effects have been very icky, (sedation, cognitive dulling, weight gain etc). However, I believe it's his focalin (adhd med) that truly helps with the hyperactivity which can also lead to raging). I notice once the first 10 mg wears off after 5 hours he needs another dose. Currently though we are dealing with some slepplessness due to second dose.
I remember you from the bp board and I was wondering if you may end up here too. Liam was alos a pdd kid who was ignored by all until one day one great play therapist said "have you heard of pdd" I about fell over, as that was what I was yeling abiout for years.
Btw: How's Sweden doing with her issues?
