Meeting with the school psychologist

I am meeting with the school psychologist next week. This is the one who is doing Tom's evaluation for kindergarten and will be contributing to his IEP. So far I've really liked this guy. I think he has Tom's best interests at heart and I think that he will be fair in his assessment...so why do I get butterflies when I think about talking with him one on one? I know exactly the kinds of things we'll talk about, the questionaires I filled out, Tom's scores, what he has found from his observations at preschool.

I guess I just hate the idea of someone "passing judgement" on Tom. Sounds silly.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Heather,

It's not silly at all.
