So it is just Nick and I this weekend! DH went for a self-rejuvination weekend in Chicago (he is from there) and I sure as h**l hope it does him some good. I told him he needs to get some of this crap out of his system, talk until he is blue in the face about what is going on because he isnt talking here. He is stressed, upset, aggravated, holding it in, just plain not dealing. I have leaned on everyone in my life, expressed my anger ;), gotten out and I sleep pretty decent. I cry when I need to, I even cried in the bookstore yesterday when I was picking up a book on Autism/Asperger's. I have no shame. Part of our issues here is that because of that, he is tense and short on patience which doesnt help anyone.
SO! Tonight, we are feasting on a wonderful dinner of Mickey D's, only the best for us baby! Tomorrow we are doing Bob Evans for pancakes and I have a sitter coming up at noon as I am getting another tattoo with my mom! Tomorrow night I am taking him to the Barberton Speedway for the races and Sunday will be a whatever fun day, whatever he wants to do. When it is just he and I, he is so good for me, we are going to do sleepover's both nights, he loves sleeping in our bed with me. I love the me and him time :)

Whewwwhoooo Christine a tat!!! Your gonna have to post a pic after its done! I have one myself, but know that I will never again do it lol. It was too painful for me to repeat it, unless I am heavily sedated hehehe.
Thats sounds like a great weekend. And cudo's to you for recognizing what your dh needs. BTW, his behavior I have learned is pretty typical of our dh's when we first suspect or get the actual DX.
IN the beginning when I first started suspecting it, Tony would get so mad at me and say "Stop it! Your not a doctor!" And I'd look at him and say "But I'm a mother, and I know my kids, and I'm not gonna let up on this gut instinct I have."
He'd get so mad lol.
But I never let up, and eventually with all of my infor and such, he's starting to come around. The only thing is he will get irritated with me when I try to point out nicholas making his own little golf/obstical course, and I show him how he's lining things up. That - he doesn't like me to tell him, so I guess thats when I realize I need to back off a bit and give him some more time and space.
Have a great time with Nic Christine!
