I know this question has probably been asked before on this board, but it is always fun to read the answers. What is the most embarrassing and/or funniest thing your child has done or said? (I say and/or, because sometimes they're one in the same, as my son's was).
Here's Alex's:
Because dh is from a large Italian family, we are often subject at the dinner table to his stories of the antics he, his brothers, and sister did as kids. So, this summer we attended our nephew's christening at dh's childhood Catholic church. There were about 40-50 people standing around during the ceremony; all went well, etc. At the very end, the priest decided it was time for a prayer, to include the Lord's Prayer. It was a somber moment, until as soon as it was finished, Alex piped up (VERY loudly), "excuse me, excuse me!!! Did someone say 'HOWARD be thy name?!' He then went on to say that that is what his uncle used to say as a kid, ha ha (quoting dh, of course). That definitely was our most embarrassing (and funniest!) moment with Alex!
