Well we took DS to see Thomas LIVE yesterday.
He blew me away on his well behavior. I was elated on how "normal" seemed. LOL
I have NEVER seen so many boys from ages 2-5!! In the back of my head was wondering how many spectrumish kids where among us.
Needless to say we go there 30 min early, I was nervous but ready with all my snacks.
The show was 15 min late going on, so far so good. Lights went down, he got a little freaked but ok.
The ONLY real outburst was the crowd had to do the "PEEP PEEP" noise as a crowd= sensory issue but got over it quick.
INTERMISSION
NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM!!!!!! He went potty with DH (even though the child has no interest w/potty we make him go with dad)
The child in front of us wanted to see DS light stick we bought him (over priced, sigh) and he was ok with showing it to him!!!
Then the child offered my boy a M&M!!! DS offered the boy som twislers!!!!
The show ends, DS is NOT pleased, he wanted MORE, MORE, MORE.
He got a lollipop and was ok and we left.
I want to yell from the mountain tops what a GREAT DAY we had yesterday
Nora

Yay! Nora,
sounds like an awesome experience.
Now if they could only have Thomas at school everyday, wouldn't life be wonderful? ;)
