Evelyn,

That is great news. I am glad he is relaxing a bit on that one. Anxiety can be such a bear!

Love the book idea. David sounds alot like Mike with his "encouragement"

I am so so so happy for you and Nathan. I've always really related to everything you post about him because he reminds me so much of Hannah. I know what a big deal this is for him. Thanks for sharing this book. I'm going to look for it. Hannah doesn't get too anxious about her art anymore but she used. But still I'm hoping she might be able to generalize the story. Her big perfection thing right now is cursive writing.

Yay Nathan,

You know I run the Church if "Ish."

Sister Dee sayeth to the congregation:

"and let there be ishes throughout the land, for it is only with the ish that we can all truly beat down the demon of perfectionism...."

I'm going to have to get those books because I also have a 5 year old perfectionist. He's like that with a lot of things -- he doesn't like to do things wrong or be wrong, and it did start with his big brother's comments.

I'm glad Nathan's relaxing. BTW, does he hold his pencil the "correct" way or does he grip it differently? Just curious. I'm having a hard time getting Duncan to use the correct pencil grip, and I'm just trying every once in a while to show him. He finally got the hang of cutting with his fingers and thumbs in the right holes and with his thumb up (most of the time).
