I think its really nice of you to walk her to the bus. I'd say no to anymore that that too, you know the whole underwear problem, lol :)

walking her to the bus stop is one thing, being her caregiver is quite another! I think you're right to set the boundary and make it stick. (that whole underwear, stressed out rolling out of bed thing is reason 'nough!)

I have to agree w/ Paula (tho I don't have any graphic examples! LOL!), if she's responsible enough at 10 to stay by herself so be it, otherwise, they should understand that you aren't available to be the easy out caregiver-- there are plenty of centers out there that do before school care and transportation and are perfect for a 10 yr old.

Liam doesn't sound any different than Weston (tho often Weston just stands right in front of me and askes me to hug him until the bus comes), but so far we have had only a very few people that don't want to talk or be w/ us, many more that are understanding and want to help or are at least curious.
