hi..i'm new to these boards. my son was recently diagnosed w/ pdd-nos. it's been a few months and all his 'services' have started but lately i am feeling completely lost and confused and lacking any kind of support. i have so many questions...daily...and i feel i have no one to turn to..i was hoping to connect w/ other parents of pdd-nos children to maybe get some insight on just about everything.

Hi Jack's Mom,

and you have so come to the right place here. Welcome to the board, where noone wants to become a member, but once you are, it's a great place to hang out!!! LOTS of been-there-done-that moms with children of all ages, including those who have been recently diagnosed and also some of us who have children who were diagnosed awhile ago. My own son is 9 years old and dx'ed PDD-NOS, tall and impish, mop of curly hair that the girls all love. For me, this board has been a great place to connect when I just can't sleep and it would be rude to call my local pals and wake them up....

Ask away, how can we help, what's first and foremost on your need-to-know schedule??

We are also pretty good at listening to venting, as we all vent sometimes. We know alot about services, therapies, nutrition, helping out with friendships, behavioral issues, IEPs. We are also VERY good at dispensing online wine, chocolate and ((((hugs)))).

Name your poison,

Sara

Welcome, Jack's Mom!

Ditto to what Sara said/typed...nobody WANTS to be a member here, but if you gotta be, it's a great group.

As one of the BTDT gals, I'm looking forward to sharing my experience with you as you weave your way through this sometimes crazy maze.
