It's funny to hear somebody try to talk you out of something while they talk themselves into it.

I drove Peter to get his new glasses, protesting all the way. I won't relay the whole conversation, but it started with:

"Kids will laugh at me."

Congrats Peter! And I want to see some new handsome pictures! I must have been thinking about you, we were just discussing glasses at the dinner table 15 minutes ago. Mike has come to the realization that he really DOES see better with his glasses.

I think his eyes were tested at a -1.75 or something like that. Which is about a 20/150 or something like that I think. Mine are a -3 which is comparable to a 20/400. I can't imagine that he didn't make the realization earlier that it is much better to see!

Kudos to Peter! I bet he looks like Harry Potter or Perhaps Superman's alter ego!

As one who has worn glasses since childhood, I can identify. I am grateful for places like Visionworks. For me, glasses are like shoes, a great fashion accessory, you can never have too may pairs. Maybe I'm related to Elton John!

Way to go Peter!

I'm glad it went so well. I bet he looks dashing :) Can't wait to see the pic. I wish dd would wear her glassed more. She looks fantastic in them. She really has outgrown the frames though and they bother her now because she sees the frame and too much around them. She only had to wear hers twice a week to keep her left eye from floating out when reading. My mom talks about my brother reacting to his first pair of glassed like Peter did. Its hard for me to imagine what that must be like.
