New with questions...

My DS just turned 3 this month. We just completed the ADOS this week but will not know the results until April, after waiting 2 months for an appointment to have it administered. *sigh* Don't they know the waiting is awful?

Anyway, my son had a few months of OT & ABA initially for sensory issues and through that we picked up on a few autistic-like behaviors. If you met my son you would see a very energetic, talkative, silly little boy with some attitude. Many people comment on his great communication skills and social ability. If you look closer, however, you'll notice the fleeting eye contact & his inability to use his communication skills to complete a conversation. Lots of questions and descriptions but also a lot of "yes" "no" "I don't know". Straight, and to the point.
