NOT AGAIN!

So last night, I'm in bed waiting for DH to join me. We've been working our butts off all night trying to get some more work done on the house so we can it get on the market next week, and as soon as I hear the upstairs toilet flush, I see water start to drip from our bedroom ceiling! I yell up at DH, who runs down, looks at it, says a few choice words, runs back upstairs and turns on the faucet...which made the matter even worse (he had to do it to see where the water was coming from).

Rewind four years, when we were getting ready to sell our previous house and move here- I'm in the basement (probably on this board, to be honest) and Noah comes running downstairs screaming, "Mommy! Mommy! It's raining in Kenzie's bathroom!" (Kenzie was our dog at the time and she slept in the tiny bathroom off the garage entrance to the house.) At that time, a plumbing line had busted and water ended up doing damage to all three levels of the house and trashing the ceiling in the garage. It was weeks before we had the house "put back together".

Good Lord, I hope this round isn't as bad...I don't think I can take it. We've aleady spent the tiny little bit of savings we had updating the kitchen to (hopefully) help the house sell faster. There's nothing left. We're going to have to ask my mom to help us pay for the repairs.

You know, the previous house was only 8 years old at the time, so DH said that when we bought this house, he wanted an older home because he thought that it would be "better made". As far as I'm concerned, from now on, WE'RE RENTING! I don't care if I ever own another home.

Oh NO!!! That'd make me lose it any day, but a thousand times worse when you're trying to get your house on the market. Here's crossing my fingers that it's not anything too bad.
