i heard about that earlier today. it's too bad. i would never try chelation via IV. plus the doctor sounded like a quack. they haven't yet said if he errored in his protocol. if EDTA chelation is not done in a specific way, it is super dangerous. why is everyone always looking for the miracle cure instead of appreciating the special kids they have?

I agree.

This is a very sad situation. Cheletion scares me because of this because particularly IV cheletion can be so dangerous. Even when giving meds I measure the value vs. the risks. Unfortunately in autism there has always been new questionable treatments that come out at enormous cost that parents do try in the hopes of a cure. Very very sad.
