Hi ladies.

Who you are: Another Debbie

Where you are: SE Pennsylvania

Where you are originally from (optional) Same area, only a few blocks from where I was raised.

Who brings you here -briefly: Name (optional) gender and age. Stephanie - age 8 with Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety issues.

...and how you will be celebrating Thanksgiving this year. MIL said she is taking us all out to eat which includes FIL, us, and DH's three siblings and families. There will be 3 kids there and 8 adults. I just call my mom even though she is only a few minutes away. She cooks her own for my father and brother who still lives at home. They have too many animals and DH is allergic to them all; plus, the house is pretty filthy.

I can't believe I am here for a roll call...oh my it has been sooooooo long! :-)

I am Linda

I am in southeast Iowa...born in New Orleans but left when I was a newborn and raised here in corn country.

My 18 year old son brings me here. Parenting never stops. He was diagnosed with PDD-NOS

For Thanksgiving we are planning on staying home, just the 4 of us as we have for the past several years. Hubby and I tag team at fixing the big dinner. It is a great bonding time. :-D My mom normally works on Thanksgiving so we don't plan to travel the nearly 2 hours to see her.

Hi Rina. I have ALWAYS wanted to go to the Thanksgiving parade for as long as I can remember. A few years ago we took the kids to NY (Manhattan) at for Christmas. I absolutely fell in love with the city. Me and the kids had never been there before and as a matter of fact my kids had never seen snow. We had hoped and prayed for snow when we were there but we weren't holding our breath because it hadn't snowed on Christmas there in many many years. When we woke up Christmas morning it was snowing like mad! We went to Central park and the kids made their first snowman, did snow angels and had a snowball fight! It is funny because we live in Florida and took our son to Disney when he was little and he can't remember it all but he never forgets NY!

I was ready to sell everything and move to the city, that was of course before my dh told me how much housing in the city was.

What parts of Florida does your family live in?

I'm Jill (36) in Upstate NY, originally from St. Louis, MO.

My 9 year old daughter, Haley, is my Aspie. :)

As for Thanksgiving, it will be just the four of us and spent quietly at home. I'm planning on just a simple dinner this year with just a turkey breast as the main dish. I'm not one to spend much time in the kitchen. :)
