OMG I know what you MEAN today! LOL.

I went to pick up DH from the airport tonight. Lets just say this weekend has been a very "A" weekend for the boy (as in autistic) and he was overstimulated by going to get dad. I had LOST all patience by the time we got there, not that this affected him ONE iota, nope.

Well we are waiting at the baggage claim and near where the suitcases come over the conveyer belt and drop down. There's my boy (and 7yo brother soon follows him) in the tops of his voice yelling "WHHEEEEE" For each and EVERY darn bag.

Oh look, built in stim.

I took the boys to Mcdonalds sometime last week and we stayed for the play area...

Nick was either up in the thingys (don't know what there called lol) or hiding between the shoe rack and the rope gate/boarder. He did that most of the time lol

We were sitting next to a father and about 4 boys, mostly the same age as Chris (10-11)... They were doing a chase/tag thing with each other.

Chris all of a sudden blurted out, "Your food and drink is safe" (meaning he was referring to the game of tag). They just stopped and all looked at him weird....

So sad, Chris doesn't notice, but do you know how many times I have had kids look at him weird at playgrounds and Mcdonalds ect?

Thats just the way it is I guess.....

Yeah I know how THAT goes! I guess it's better then all the years we COULDN'T step foot in ANY restaurant, even MacD's! The funny thing is that in fancier restaurants, he behaves BETTER then his younger brother most of the time, strange. IT's always weird to people in my life that the now 6-year old has more responsibilities then the 9 year old does, lol! But that's the way it is! We're FINALLY getting comfortable with the thought of another child again & it's so FUNNY how they read EVERYTHING they can get their hands on about babies & stuff! Also how somehow the Stork always makes his way into the "how a baby is born" story even though my son knows WAAY more then a 9 year old should about the entire process, the dang stork STILL shows up before we leave the hospital, weird? Because the computer said the stork brings babies, that's it, that's all, one line from the Holy Grail, lol! Funny how aspie's/autie's work though, he's decided to be an astronaut, so no one says no! We all just tell him he needs better grades in math & will have to learn russian so now he's making straight a's in most of his math, which is not his best sbuject as well as using german for the first time as well as learning MORE german & using that as well (verusu being obvlivious sp?) Just because we bought him movies about the space stations & old imax movies & stuffthat shows what they do "up there". IN ONE MONTH! You can't do that with an NT! Now if we could get the schoolwork to make it home for homework, hmmmm, somethings even I loose hope for, lol!
