I can relax and rest with this. We got Victor set up so that he actually has goals this year. For so long I could not get that stupid school in Tx to write out simple goals for him because "He'll pick it up" was their response. I knew he wouldn't but drove me nuts. This year, his goals are to learn to study independantly, which they will teach him by showing him how to organize his materials he needs for upcoming tests, how to pick out important information and ignore the rest, etc..
As far as the licking thing. He didn't lick the boy, he licked his finger and touched the boy. And Momma's not too happy cause Momma got played. I thought maybe it was his perception of the events that made it seem like the teachers were being overly cross. When I heard Tuesday afternoon that Tuesday Morning the special ed teacher stopped Vic in the hall and asked him "What happened after school yesterday? I heard you were very upset when your mom found out about the incident. Are you alright now or do you need another day of chill out time?" He looked at her, turned 5 shades of red and said "Oh, you and my mom talked huh?" Well then come to find out, when he was in Time Out, he told the time out teacher "Please don't tell my Momma I liked S ." Couple that with him being fine all afternoon up to getting off the school bus and I think he was being 11 and trying to not get in trouble at home.
The good news is we addressed that in the meeting as well. They are going to start weekly social stories with him at school to explain why we don't lick our finger and touch someone, or smack their arm, etc.. etc..
