I just flooded the mas=terbath and thus there is water falling in torrents onto the kitchen table though the light fixture....sigh, oh and lovely water marks on ceiling to boot.. What is it with me and water and houses???? Plumber has been called, dh is on way home (to do what I don'y know) , and I feel like a right eejit having left the tap running while I hoped liquid plumber would do it's job. Doooooh!

Hugs to you as well.We are waiting for the plumber to come out also.Except ours maybe a pipe leak.My dh noticed as I was leaving for work this morning.A puddle of water in the flower bed.Oh great too bad we couldn't blame it on over watering but we don't have a sprinkler system.Oh and it's on one side of the house. So please oh please let this not be a leak in the slab.I hope there wasn't much damage done to your house either.Remember tubs fill up much faster when no one is watching them.Hugs Dawn

Oh and trust me you are not the first to leave a bath tub running and to have forgotten.I have done that but was lucky as I caught it just in time.

Well, not as bad as it sounds now. I mopped it all up and after a while the tnunami subsided and I now have a residual drip from the light fixture. Not dure about drywall damage until all dries up. Dh arrived home, shopvacced something from the ubend, hopped back in the car and vanished,....lol.
To give it all time to stop dripping I took the kids to Walmart (I know I need a bullet in the head for that) but with the sole decision to get a toy for each.....they were in shock and awe as toy shopping always comes with strings attached or from their own money. Today I could care less. We all deserved a break, kwim? Then I ran into shoe store and got Cian a pair of sketchers, and they weren't even on sale; poor kid has never had anything decent on his feet. Blame miserly dh, handmedowns from Liam and ummm, did I mentio miserly dh:)

Liam is mooning over some Ben 10 thingy (uuuugly) and Cian is lining up five new cars. I bought a 12 pack, lol. ROCK ON!!!!
