I'm with you on HMOs. This is what's so disgusting: Dr. William McGuire, CEO of United Health Group, has acquired 1.6 BILLION dollars in options. This is where our premiums go. And we can't even get any stinkin' therapy for our kids. Even if this is not everyone's health group, you begin to wonder that the others are always crying that the sky is falling, too, while making you beg for an x-ray.

The antibiotics aggravate yeast. My dd gets that on her bottom too. Probiotics might help.

Dang! You poor thing. Poor Cian! At least you have the ball rolling for Jan 1. It is a pain to wait but the month will hopefully go quickly and then the new baby will have the better doc too.

I am having a similar frustration today but it is with beaurocratic red tape. I have to prove I have had my MMR vaccination to register for classes next semester. I guess they give you one semester grace period to get it done, only no one told me and it wasn't on any of the forms I got. I only found out when I went to register and there was a hold on my account. I am 38. I haven't seen my immunization record in YEARS. I called my old college and they don't keep records that long. So I went to the college health clinic and I don't need 1 shot but 2 of the darn things so I won't have them done in time. So they said I can get a blood test for the titers but it is $40 and a 5day wait thank you very much. Fine sure, ok I will do it.

Well by the time we got this sorted out it was 11:05 am and the clinic closed at 11:00 for a 2 2/12 hour lunch break. AAARGH.

Now I have to go back at 1:30 and try again.

It was like dealing with the DMV or a HMO. I hate beaurocracies.

Can't you just sign a notarized form that states you aren't immunized due to religious reasons.

Yup, he has a yeast infection; so now I have to pay for the nystatin powder as well as an rx strength bum cream.
