GIRL!!!!

Now it's not 100%, but I did see the famous three lines and even the doc thought more in terms of girl than boy for the second U/S in a row.

But holy crud, what do I do with one of them?

They make very cute girl things in mint, purple, and yellow too :)

Remember - around the house it doesn't matter what color sleeper/onesie they're wearing :)

Congrats on the pink - I gave up after 3 blues!

Congrats!!! I wish I had the fancy membership so I could write it in pink ;)

I always thought I wanted all boys too but now I'm so glad I got a girl.

hehehe.

You won't know yourself with a girl.

Mine was awesome and still is. So much calmer than Peter who was hyperactive before he was born. Easy to calm. -just give her food. But she weighed a TON ;).

She was into bags and shoes from the get-go. (OK we found that out when she tried to rob a (pink) $95 handbag from Saks Off Fifth at 14 months old).

Mad for girly stuff like dolls and make-up. (OK we found THAT out when she painted her lips with quick-dry nail polish -pillarbox red, of course...

When they told me my middle child was a girl, I said, "No really." I didn't, and still don't, have a clue what to do with girls. Luckily, neither of mine are girly girls - so it makes it a tad easier for me.

We wear a lot of purple around here. Although my youngest went through a phase where she would only wear pink...but then, that's not different than the spectrum boys will only wear blue or red, huh?

Congrats, good luck...and enjoy!

What you do is hint to your friends that you need a BABY SHOWER!!!!!!!

Buying all new stuff will be fun and it doesn't have to be pink. They make some REALLY cute denim dresses. My favorite used to be to put Cait in baby blue. She has these great blue eyes and she had this one outfit that was blue jeans with a bit of lace and some heart shaped patches and a blue and white shirt with a flower pattern. She looked so darn cute and no pink. She actually looked awful in pink, Emily was my pink girl.

Cait was such a girlie baby and toddler that she could look cute and girlie in boy clothes. Still looks awfully cute in a t-shirt and jeans.

Congrats btw. Man I miss babies. Glad I get to hold one now and again for my baby fix.

I have to agree. My girls are not girlie girls in thier style or thier personality, however, thier mannerisms and thier looks are. They are both slightly uncoordinated (ok, Cait is hugely uncoordinated). But most days you will find both in t-shirt and blue jeans. In fact emily still thinks she is a tomboy. YA RIGHT.

Ok pictures just to prove my point.

I would be just as worried if I were to have a boy! LOL I am so used to girls now that I don't think I would have a clue what to do. I guess it has to do with our comfort zone. I have to admit though that I still only have to fix hair for one daughter, not both. Lily has two hair shaft defects, thus not much hair. Lily's hair is truly wash and go. Anyway, I'm comfortable with daughters but a son would really throw me for a loop. I'd send some little girl clothes your way, but we had reflux ruin our clothes too! I hope that everything goes well and I know you'll adjust fine to having a daughter. They really aren't so bad ;)
