Ok, yesterday I wasn't feeling too great and thought I might be getting a bladder infection of sorts. Today i wake up and it was quite painful but I start drinking tons of cranberry tea and try to function running to the bathroom every 10 seconds.

Go through my day, therapist appointment uncomfortable. After that it starts to get really bad and then I am peeing blood. I start having a heart attack because I am flying to pheonix on Friday and thinking i have to get to the doctor for a script and then guess what....

I pass a kidney stone!!!!!!

Ok, just whining and complaining but DANG!

Renee

(On the other hand I have been getting flowers and tea delivered by a very attentive hubby lately - guess things are looking up. Won't admit to AS at all but hey one step at a time)

AAACK!! A kidney stone?? Isn't that meant to be more painful than childbirth?

You really deserve some chocolate. Oh, what the heck, I'll have some for you. That really is awful. Or, as my two charming children have recently learned to say, "that sucks."

Well, I hope you feel better soon. You know what they say, all things must pass.

ROFLMBO - yes this too shall pass. Ok I can laugh now.

Now either this was a relatively smaller stone comparitively speaking or having 4 kids has just toughened me beyond recognition cause it hurt quite a bit but I was functional. Never even took a pain killer until after the fact. However, next time I will know what it is and I will take pain killers in advance and drink loads of fluid.

My poor kids are doomed. Often this is genetic. My husband, all his brothers and his dad has had them. If I do too then they are stuck on both sides. YUCK!!!!

Poor kids

THanks dear!

If I am not feeling better by tomorrow I am going to SCREAM!!!!!

OH and now things have turned around to the opposite extreme. I have become the new obsession only it is making me nuts. Now if I don't want to give him 100% of my attention 100% of the time he pouts.

From one tactile defensive gal to another I know you understand how NUTS this is making me.

Renee,
I hope you are starting to feel better. My SIL just went through the same thing and she said it was so very painful. You probably helped yourself by drinking all the fluids because my SIL said her doctor believes one of the causes is dehydration. Enjoy your trip, it's well deserved.

Ooohh, Renee....I hope you're feeling alright! I've never experienced a kidney stone, but I've heard they're painful! I'll be thinking of you. Have a safe trip, and give Candes a hug for me!! You guys did a great job!

Dear Renee,

OUUUCCCHH!!!!! Here's hoping you feel very much better real quick. Funny how a little scare can perk up the romance, isn't it? Enjoy the flowers if you can...
