We almost never go shopping, because it's such a pain.

Dear Evelyn,

Poor, poor David, poor all of you. Oh, those gosh-darned big, big feelings do just make everything so hard. I know about those feelings and how hard it is for our boys when the world is such a dark, awful place.

The big happys, the big angries, the big sads. (((((HUGS))))) to all of you.

Over here, we all 3 really hate shopping, so most of our buying is done online.

yours,

Sara

Well Evelyn,

yesterday I had the misguided, idiotic notion I could take 3 kids to Supertarget

Shopping with my two boys together.... SHUDDER............. lol

If Tony and I do something like that, we usually try to split up, He takes one child and I take the other and we do separate tasks.

We did that in Jan, as everyone had christmas money to burn.... The Mall stimulation did affect them, but it was easier to handle their behavior that way. I lucked out tho, and Chris had enough money to purchase what he wanted.

I'm really accustomed to (especially when it comes to money, as my son obsesses over money), reminding him over and over how much he has, and how much he can spend. I tell him in a concrete way, so when it comes time for the store "He knows the rules" and I get less melt down. It doesn't always work, but most of the time it does, since he is such a rule guy, and so literal.

But then its really hard when something pops up out of the blue like that.... and you both don't expect it, cuz then life can really suck lol.

Lol,

I know many people are so cagey about using AD's, but honestly it has been my life saver; Brook Shields and I could be blood sister, hee hee.

Debbie,

Well, the reason we attempted this at all was because we simply needed some things.
