I need to vent for a bit. Here I sit, still in my pj's, kids fed but not dressed as they run around.

Alright Pam! Sounds like you are doing much better already and that's great about the time for yourself.
You are definitely not alone and we all are here for you for encouragement and support. This board is great!
I'm glad you feel better, have renewed strength and had a great talk with DH. It works so much better with their support. DH is supportive and understanding, but won't spend as much time with her as I like.
Private lessons seem to work much better and I am hoping Stephanie will swim good like the poster before me. (Was it Kate? Sorry I forgot). There is hope! Atleast we are trying and getting them to try. I have one friend whose 15 year old daughter still won't get in water. They are wonderful people and she is my good friend, but I think she should have tried to get her into swimming lessons.
It is definitely not a weakness. My same friend I talked about above told me that too and wants me to take something to help me. I still haven't however. DH is a bit opposed to it, but I see nothing wrong with it nor is it a weakness. It helps us to cope better and we all need that.
For me, of course, depending on and talking to the Lord really helps as well.
Take care and glad to hear you are doing better. Have a great weekend at the spa.
Debbie
I can't add much more advice than all the other moms have done but just know you are not alone and when you reach those low points, they do pass and somehow you just get the strength to keep on going. Keep your chin up!You are doing a great job!I just started going to preschool with Jake last week and although he seems quirky at times it was also reasurring to see how similar he was to his peers also. Hell, I saw at least 2 kids in his class who are "NT" who had obvious sensory issues!Sometimes I know when I'm getting overwhelmed I have the tendency to focus on all that Jake can't do and it gets me really down so most of the time I try to think of the things he's great at.
