The article refers to it as the "cuddle chemical" and the study referenced had great results.

Has anyone else heard of this? I wonder what the side effects are:

wow! This is fascinating. Thanks for posting.

I do wonder about side-effects, where weren't mentioned at all. Many hormones perform multiple functions or impact other hormones, so ther coudl be a knock-on effect. Also, they say this chemical is a neurotransmitter, and as many ASD kids are at higher risk for seizures, that raises a red flag with me.

Clearly a lot more research is needed, but it is interesting stuff, all the same.
