Passing on tips I have learned...

for raising one of "our" kids.
We have a lot of newbies and parents of younger kids here, so I thought it might be a good idea to open this thread as a kind of knowledge pool where the "oldies" can share some of the things they learned with the 'newbies"
So here are some of the things I have learned in my journey. I wish I had known many of them a log time ago, but what the hey! I know them now!
Praise every little thing your child does right.

Rina - Ryan was treated completely non-surgically.
I will email you but yes Ryan's feet did look much less severe than what Josh's looks like now. Josh had total bone involvement. His foot looks like a big fat kidney bean right now. Plus I noticed you have a link to the old Clubfoot support board. I remmeber when it was first put up back around 1995-1996 I think or maybe a touch later. My how things have changed
I remembered another one this morning.

I'll add to this awesome post.....
I've learned that I CAN'T BE SUPER MOM 24/7.......so with that being said, dont' be afraid to ask for help. Taking care of MOM is a priorty cause like Renee said, if momma ain't happy, no one is happy LOL
Accepting when things get to be too much, it's ok to check out, via a video to occupy the kids OR calling a friend/family member just to get out for a second. Heck grocery shopping can be nice way to detox from therepists, doctors, school fucntions, teachers etc........
I also agree with Christine to just ROLL WITH IT. We parent differently and IF you friends can see and accept that it's worth it's weight in gold.
