I took the IQ test featured in village...got a 113 (above average). Yippee! Whatever... I had strongest in Rote Memorization. Problem is...

...it doesn't help me with PEOPLE. It doesn't help me with life. But, no wonder I like learning just for the sake of learning. My mind CRAVES information, but when it comes to interpersonal relationships? I'm relatively clueless. Still, one must wonder how good I am in other ways. Obviously, my only asset to socialization is my open-mindedness. But at least it makes me feel young.

*loves Howl's Moving Castle* You know, it was that movie that inspired me to read books by Diana Wynn Jones. Now I am a big fan! I think the movie is quite different from the book, but both are enjoyable. The book is a lot funnier, but I think the movie is more romantic. Fans of the book typically put down the movie for being different, but I like that it turned out different. Hayao Miyazaki has a brilliant mind that shouldn't be stunted by what anyone dictates. Oh, how liberal am I!?! But anyways...I'm almost NOT 20-something. 29 years old, I'll turn 30 August the 14th. I'm not feeling it, but I know I'll be laughing come November. I'll be going to Nekocon again and I'll be 30 but I know I look 20. I love it! Here comes the unfortunate part. There's not much help in a place like this. The city of Chesapeake is not so great for the disabled. The only benefits are the monthly pay of $416.18. Not much for someone who pays rent but it gives me so much more hope and a positive outlook that would be impossible if I weren't making any money, or still at that miserable job I had. I've never had a 'real' job btw. Just no-skill-level type work. No one wants to hire a social inept. That skill seems to be so important. It's like the popular people are winning now. And it kind of sucks because in an age where social prowress is more important, socialization is disappearing in favor is isolation. Would you not agree?

I think Asperger's Syndrome is a personality trait that 'the norm' doesn't like. And so it's pegged as a disorder. Btw, did you know that shyness has now been deemed a handicap in the U.S.?

Oh btw--off topic--I like your name. It's fun ^_^
