Hi everyone, it has been a long while since i've posted anything I hope everyone had a great holiday. My DH and 11 yr old son with Aspergers are planning on relocating to NC next month and have been looking for an area with good schools for Nathan. we are looking at the Mooresville/Concord area. If anyone out there lives in or around that area I would love to hear from them and see what their experiences are. I am very nervous to make this move but we feel it is in Nathan's best interest as I've heard NC schools have a great support system for AS kids. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Hi. Mooresville/Concord is a nice area. I have family from Huntersville to Matthews. My cousins were raised in Charlotte and they have various disabilities. Mecklenberg County I think has good schools with good support. My aunt has been very involved in the area, and she tells me that North Carolina has better resources than many places. Good luck with your move.
