Well today was the last day for both boys....sniff as the clinic oficially shuts it's doors this Friday...blame medicaid and tehir new stuip beurocratic rules %%^%^$$##%^&$%&^$*(!!!
So our OT's are fabulous; Cian's IS going into practice from her home, and I have already offered to donate a piece of equipment. He will get more therapy time for less money YEA!!!! Liam was referred onto a great program that involves Saturdays where kids with SID etc hike, fish and swim all day, 9:30-5pm. It's half the price of an hourly OT session and he will get social skills (with 7 peers all days) and an outdoor ed program specifically for kids like him). OMG I LOVE GEORGIA!!!!!
So even though the clinic is closing at esst our next step seems a step up at least....sucks for the other familes who know have to scramble to find new therapists etc

woohooo! what an opportunity for Liam! I wish I could find something like that for us! I'm glad Cian's still going to get his therapy w/ his regular therapist. sounds like you made out well w/ this change.

WOW!
That sounds amazing. I particularly like the sound of that Saturday program. Awesome stuff!
I'm happy for you.

Hmmmm...me wonders if that "I Love Georgia" wasn't a terribly obvious attempt at a subliminal message meant to further encourage DH & I to move there?? ;-P
Seriously though, it sounds like you've struck a gold mine of services. Hooray for all of you!
