We are supposed to talk about it tomorrow @ our weekly team meeting. The team wasn't yet in full agreement about making a change. They wanted to give it one more week. But the principal was going to contact the Head of Special Education and the Superintendent and start looking into options. Kyle only had one meltdown so far this week but we've barely had school due to the weather (blizzards, ice storms). The one he had was a doozy though. He got violent, trying to hit/kick/bite. He's never done that before, ever. And he did it while in his "office" for no apparent reason other than "I hate it there". The aide was reading him a joke/riddle book to him at his request. I'm sure the special ed teacher is very tired of this by now. She has like 60 kids on her roster and Kyle is taking up so much of her time and energy. I'm anxious to hear what the principal says but we may not even have school today or tomorrow.

We are starting him in play therapy Monday. And the GABA is supposed to show up today. I want to start it on the weekend though because you just never know how they'll react. I pulled all the rest of his supplements except magnesium and probiotics. I did it on the hunch that maybe as he's going through puberty his nutritional needs have changed. He says he feels less depressed but he still had his whopper meltdown.

Hugs to you Samatha. I have also been thinking about you and Kyle. I hope the supplements starts to work. Will magnesium work without B-6? I have just made an appt. with DAN dr. Since Sravan is couple of yrs behind and I am not sure what puberty is going to bring us. If he took my DHs genes then he should have very very late purberty, like in college- YIKES.
