Oh sweetie, all I can do is commiserate. Liam (7 also 2nd grade) is the same. He was miserable untle the dx and then had a phenomenal summer; within weeks of school in the Fall he fell apart (we are still picking up the pieces). After a week off school we are finally seeing the little boy who lives beneath the anxiety. I am hoping he is settled enough by school's return on Jan 8th so we can get him more supports. (((HUGS))) you are not alone,
I truly feel for you. I am experiencing the exact same thing with Haley and she's in 5th grade. I am not looking forward to school starting back up on Wednesday because I know what we have to look forward to. I am hoping that she will manage. While we have had some uncertainties with her new teacher, he has proven to have her best interests at heart and is really coming through for her so I'm really happy there.
I really want to home school but I don't know enough about it yet and I am going to have to go back to work full time in another month or so. Will be too hard to home school at that point. I won't have a moment to breathe if I do that. But I know it would do wonders for her anxiety if I did. It's such a hard decision to make. :(

Laine - that sound just like my DS. His behavior is good at school - he just let's fly at home.
