I'm not really looking for advice here; just feel like writing, mostly.

(((hugs))) summer can be very difficult! I love hearing about your boys and their little quirks (or big)-- makes me smile and know I'm not the only one, my child isn't a total anomaly.

Weston is having lots more ASD tendencies coming to the forefront. He's less agitated but much more obsessive in the summer. I disturbs me a little that he acts more autistic in the summer time. But I'm heartened to see that he is less anxious, less agitated over stuff. He can however spend all day playing on the computer, with legos or rereading Harry Potter. He seems more detatched from reality but he's much happier more settled in himself.

That must be stressfull. Hugs, where did I hear all that (LOL!!!), ditto in my house too. I told Sravan to practice his violin. He stood up to close to me. I told him to back off a little. Next moment, where was he, I am sure you would have guessed, the doorway, ofcourse (LOL!!!). This is where I belong...... and so on.

take care,

Ugh, what is up with this summer time heat getting to our kids. My ds has cried more in the last three days than I can handle. I know we have been doing thibgs that involve groups, and he just can't handle that but jeeze. I am talking every few minutes a complete meltdown, sobbing uncontrollably. Thank god my mom let him spend the night last night. Too bad the other five can't get along today, I am sick of yelling at kids. I feel like an ogre. On the other hand, like your ds, he is much happier out of school, it really stresses him out and he prefers to do his own thing.
Hope it gets better,
carey
